No More Tolerating Insulting Comments

July 1st, 2006 by bestfriend23

People, in all aspects of life, in many ways, have insulted me and gave me rude comments straight to my face purposely. My family, the group of people who are those that should support me, are the people bringing down my self-esteem.

This is my new resolution –> I’m not going to tolerate rude comments. If you want me to listen, say it properly. There are so many words to describe a person, so check the dictionary, or thesaurus, or ask around to find out a NICER way to replace the rude comments intended to say to me. Cuz I will NOT LISTEN to rude comments.

Do you know that words can be a lethal weapon?? Words, are tools to influence someone and shape the world. Is giving compliment such a hard thing to do? Is your mouth made out of poison? Sarcastic people are the ones I hate the most, what is the point of being sarcastic? What do you get out of it? Satisfaction? Fun? Pleasure?

Sarcasm, makes u a lesser popular person, because majority hates sarcastic people. Have you seen a sarcastic prime minister or president? Who likes someone that insults you indirectly? I believe no one, unless there are Sad people around… Sarcastic joke doesn’t make you a cool person, so can you sarcastic jokers out there, think about the consequences before you joke?

Some people speak with sarcasm to sarcastic people, I totally disagree with that. If you hate being sarcastic, do not be sarcastic to people, even if others started first. If you can be sarcastic but not hurting anyone, that’s cool, go on.. But I doubt that. Some people, people like me, are easily influenced by words, and sarcastic comments on us will make us feel bad for the rest of the day. Some people gave the reason as "inflating some big heads", did the they think about the their( boastful people) feelings? The people who boast are the people who want to be approved as someone important to their peers.Approve them, do not make them feel like they do not belong..

Some people regard rude sarcasm as "honesty", and that is dumb.Lets pick saints as examples : Do you think that Jesus/God will say "thou did a ‘good deed’, and I shalt reward thou free trip plus accommodation to hell!!" or  Buddha saying " If thou do not change thee’s attitude, watch your @$$, because the nature will make thou sit on a stick that drives through thou’s Hole".. No right? Why? They are honest people too, but they know how to be honest in a polite way, not a rude and sarcastic way.

To all sarcastic people, grow up, don’t hurt other people’s feelings for your own sake.

So long to prefect life!!

June 25th, 2006 by bestfriend23

I remember when I first signed up to join the prefectorial board in form 3, I was so worried that I might fail my interview. I went around poaching for tips of what will be the topic asked by the interviewers ( my discipline teachers) weeks before the interview. The questions were quite tricky; "why do you want to join thr prefectorial board?"…etc etc.

Fortunately, when I entered the interview room, my mind was at ease. Why? Because my favourite moral teacher was one of the interviewer. She was lenient in that interview, more like advising me how to be a prefect. If I am not wrong, the conversation was like as below:

teacher : Hi Tee Yoong, sit down sit down. So, you want to be a prefect ya?

Me        : Er…yeah…

teacher : But very hard wan wor…You sure you can handle or not? After your results no good how?

Me       :I will try my best to organize myself wan lar…

teacher : Oklo… I’m glad that you join. Tell me, if I pass you, will you join the prefects camp?

Me        : Sure…

teacher : Sure ar?

Me        : Sure….

teacher : To be a prefect must study hard wan ar… Must do all my homework and don’t talk so much in class ok?

Me        : I will try la..

Teacher : Ok Tee Yoong, you can go now…

After some long and torturing orientation and probation period, I became a prefect!!WHOOHOO….

Prefects_1

I changed, not drastically, but gradually… I was more reputation conscious and power crazy. I neglected many friends and actually betrayed some.. The thought of it was really scary, because that person wasn’t the real me. It was the Dr. Jekyll part of me.

However, I realised that when I was about to step down during mid of form five. But it was too late, the damages were done. I couldn’t do much to rectify it. I told myself, I will not be the same in college, I will turn over a new leaf. I guess I managed to turn over a new leaf :)

Toolan

I am glad I am no more the same person I was in form 4. I am no more Tee Yoong, I am now known as Edwin *cheng cheng cheng*

Nolar…Joking only lar…I am just more a bad boy now, might be invited to act in BADBOY 4. lol……..

Bad Hair Day

June 22nd, 2006 by bestfriend23

Just an outline for today, I didn’t style my hair. My hair, supposingly, should look like as below.

Picture_033_2

However, it did not.

So much for a nice hair day. This morning I was supposed to do some guitar teaching, and my pupil is Mr. Jackson Lee. However, when I reached subang, more than 50km away from my home, he was nowhere to be seen. I called him and guess what he said? He was sick and didn’t want to come. Well, I call that FFK. But it is not good to call that FFK since he had his reasons, but he should call me the day before. Nevertheless, I couldn’t blame him because he said sorry.

***My dad said that we should forgive people who says sorry and really mean it.OKlo….***

Calvin was scheduled to arrive at 12pm, and it was only 9am. So, I stoned for about 3 hours in CC, and walked around subang square, worst shopping complex i’ve ever seen, If you call that a shopping complex.

Supposed to go to Calvin’s house to discuss about work, instead,I went home without any work done. Good, I screwed my moral project work and screwed Calvin’s life since he is the editor and my "head of Project" ( He will be the one to be blamed if the project comes out sucky).

That’s about all…Shoutouts for my friends that are not satisfied of their results. CCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAXXXXXXXXXXXX!!!!

Moral Lessons Suckz

June 22nd, 2006 by bestfriend23

tWhen I was in primary school,Moral was my favourite core subject as I always scored in that subject.Simple formula to score for moral —> Just pick the alternative u think is "right".However, it was not included in UPSR,how unfortunate!!When I was in form 3, to instil the interest in students to appear in moral subject classes, moral teachers made moral classes as relaxin and interestin as possible. All students were given nicknames (for my class only), and mine was "patriotic Phang". Maybe because my teacher was in the administration department of my school, she often skipped our class. That was WHY I love moral lessons so much!!As I was streamed into form 4(class 4A, to be exact), moral lessons were interesting yet boring at the same time.Scoring in moral lessons was a "mission impossible" thing to me.Moral values and the definitions were hell, and I gave no effort memorising it. As the result, my moral subject grades were always on the boundaries of D.To add to my misery, I was informed that Moral was going to be in SPM!!Life was living hell at that time..

Picture_074_1

Luckily, I got A1 for my Moral in SPM.Unbelievable?Believe it!!

Now, in college. I thought that moral and history would be "history" but I was utterly disappointed when Malaysian Studies was actually "history" in English. The teacher/lecturer was a boring butt but I wouldn’t grade him as a jack@$$ because he is a nice and friendly guy trying to be strict. When I thought that hell was over after Malaysian Studies course was over, I was so damn wrong…

Edwin

Moral Studies lessons took over Malaysian Studies when the course was over. The Moral lecturer, I would say, is more than an @$$.I hear people calling him "B*tch" behind his back, but that, I believe, is an insult for all other bitches in the world. When someone ask me, "between killing yourself and marrying the Moral Lecturer, which alternative would you prefer?". The answer will obviously be commiting suicide!!

A little bit description about him, he is short, old, being senile at his age, trying to be cute and cuddly.Chinese, white-but-not-thick hair, with a "crazy frog" face. His voice is as loud as a microphone, and he uses microphone to conduct his lessons, and he always complains about students not listening to him.Come on, no one sleeps in his class, cuz the noise level made by him can be compared with a "modified-exhaust-pipe Celica on first gear".And it is a fair comparison.

Maybe he is old, and he expects senior citizens to be respected by the young ones.He patronizes us and calls that "respecting", always blaming us for "trying to act cool" when we couldn’t answer him or were giving him a piece of our mind.In the case of Yoeng Shen v Moral Teacher, The MT asked YS to answer question, and Yoeng Shen said "I don’t know". MT asked him, " I gave you sufficient time to think about answer, you should have thought of the answer already". Yoeng Shen, as quick as lightning, replied "You give me enough time doesn’t mean I know the answer.". Lets think logically, what he said makes sense. We were not given a book to refer, how the fuck can we get the answer?? To him, that was a sign of retaliation. SO there he was, picking on that poor guy for trying to act cool. What a dumb@$$!!

In another case, Mr.Unknown v MT , that dude(now known as dude1) got shouted at teacher for not paying attention. MT later asked dude1 to leave the lecture hall, he said "you think I want to stay here ar?" before walking off the class with style. That dude1 was so cool!!! MT was in a "tomato head" situation, and he picked on his mates by asking one of them "you wanna join him?". One of them, another brave dude(known as dude2), said "of course!!".As dude2 was showing signs of leaving the class, MT shouted "SIT DOWN!!".Sound of giggling and laughter was heard in the awfully big lecture hall.

Lets see.Moral Teacher,0 ; Students,3.

If anyone wants to know more about this Moral Teacher/lecturer. kindly contact Mr. Aik Yoeng Shen, victim for the event. To get to him, please search for "Anderson" in my "friends" contacts

Fat to Thin

June 20th, 2006 by bestfriend23

Edwin_fat_4 The guy with the darker shirt is me. The picture is not clear but it is obvious that my face was round at that time. That was I when I was 14, when "stress" and "pressure" were strangers to me. Life was great when you eat sleep and drink "coke" most of the time.I slept at least twelve hours a day that time and scrabble seemed to be a sport to me.That was how I grew fat..

Picture_020_1   As I grow older, I deal with peer pressures. I started Smashing Shuttlecocks with my racket, and later kicked football with my boots and followed by throwin basketballs into the hoop or attempting it. Besides that, I befriended "stress" and "pressure" and they were with me day and night, pushing me, forcing me to do stupid things or say things that might hurt other people.I became addicted to coffee, as they were my life support.Being a prefect added my burden. The disputes between fellow prefects increased day by day, as atmosphere became tensed between us.We wore masks to prefect meetings, and stabbed each other by the back. The superiors exercised their power and influence to get what they want and the inferiors back stabbed the superiors for what they have did. From there, I learnt politics.I admit, I was power crazy and arrogant at that time, and neglected my friends. I wanted people to know a person with the name "Tee Yoong", in any ways.I regretted for what I’ve done, and I am bearing the consequences —> Less friends.

Hair_styling_school College was the best thing my parents did for me. I had a new life there in college.I self- appointed myself as 5the class representative. I admit, I suck in administrating the funds and is not a good class rep. However, my classmates supported me and forgive me if I did anything wrong. Trying not to be the ol’ Tee Yoong, I covered for them in marking attendance.Loadsa Bad habits I learnt in college, so what?I am happier this way. Look!! I’m still skinny!!Why?? Well, being a class rep. is not as easy as u think, and my bad habits helps in makin me thin.By The Way, I’m also known as Edwin in college :)
